About...

We all have interesting stories on how we make our way through life. I started in the financial service business in 1994 as a stockbroker. Yes... a stockbroker. That was a rough way to get started in the financial service industry; cold calling (250 calls every day) which I had to turn all the leads over to a senior broker. It was me along with other college graduates who were just as clueless as I was. Anyways.... That was the start. The good news, I stayed in the industry and made my way. Then I worked for a money management firm downtown Chicago and began studying for my CFA. I passed my first level, however, I had an opportunity to take a more entrepreneurial position. My ultimate dream was to have my own business. I moved back to my home state, Michigan, and started in a new sales role. I thought I was working for a financial planning firm, but the reality, it was an insurance agency (What the heck?!) This was my first experience in life insurance, annuities and disability. I didn't have an issue talking about the importance of risk management with my clients. However, I didn't like being forced to sell life insurance, that was a bummer. I began thinking, "What was the best for my clients; commission or fee's?". As I kept moving along, I felt it was best to work as fiduciary and remove any conflict. I began studying for my CFP® and became a Certified Financial Planner® in 2001. At the time, I was a registered representative with an independent broker dealer. I wanted more,  I wanted my own firm! I had no idea how to do it but that didn't stop me. I started my own RIA and began my own fee-only financial planning firm in 2003. It was so exciting and very scary at the same time. Things were going great,  I was doing seminars, networking with centers of influence, joined networking groups and was very involved with my local chamber of commerce. 

As a business owner, I needed support, motivation and inspiration! Who's the best at that? Tony Robbins. To bring this story to end, I loved Tony's strategies and I hired my own personal coach. I attended more Tony seminars. I just loved learning more about personal transformation. I kept digging deeper and learning more and transforming. I felt empowered and on a mission to help people realize their fullest potential. I had an opportunity to become a Tony Robbins Life Coach and took it. 

I began personal and business coaching people all over the world. I've been business consulting and coaching financial advisors for the last 6 years.
